Puppy Love Pancakes
This Valentines recipe is paw-fect for those dogs with classic taste, who want to join in on breakfast fun. You can even use heart shaped cookie cutters to really show your best doggy friend how much you love them. This pup pancake recipe uses our Chicken Dinner meal, filling this breakfast delight with superfoods and protein, and making your dogs tummy happy and heart full of love.
Ingredients
1 Tilly & Ted Chicken Dinner Tetra, or as needed
250ml of milk
2 eggs
1 and a 1/2 tbsp of melted butter
1 tbsp of honey
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 a tsp of cinnamon
120g of whole wheat flour
60g of plain flour
Neutral cooking oil, for frying
Metal heart-shaped cookie cutters (optional)
Instructions
1) Whisk your eggs, honey, and milk together in a bowl.
2) In a separate bowl, mix your dry ingredients together, before mixing them into the wet mixture. Slowly add in the Chicken Dinner, until the mixture resembles a thick pancake batter with chicken dispersed throughout.
3) Heat the oil over medium heat in a frying pan, and when hot, pop the cookie cutter onto the pan, and pour a small amount of the batter into the cookie cutter. If not using cookie cutters, use a spoon to drop a small circle of batter into the pan.
4) Wait a few minutes until golden brown (bubbles will begin to form on the batter to indicate the bottom is cooked), and flip to cook the other side. If using cookie cutters, remove before flipping.
5) Serve, and enjoy!
