Baked Chicken Chews

This recipe is paw-fect for those dogs with classic taste, who love a baked delight to chew on after a long day. They also store fabulously, so can be popped in an airtight container and enjoyed for up to a month, or frozen for up to 6 months. Combining the tastiness of our Chicken Dinner meal and the superfood properties of sweet potato, these easy and yummy treats will have your pup begging for more.

Ingredients

1 Tilly & Ted Chicken Dinner Tetra

1 boiled sweet potato

2 eggs

360g of whole wheat flour

Instructions

1) Set your oven to 160C fan, and line a baking sheet with baking paper.

2) Blend the Chicken Dinner, egg, and sweet potato until smooth, using a food processer or blending stick.

3) Sift your flour into a bowl, and mix in the puree well until fully combined.

4) Sprinkle your countertop or workspace with flour before tipping out your mixture and kneading into a dough.

5) Sprinkle a rolling pin with flour, and roll out the dough until it's around 1cm thick. Use your favourite cookie cutter, or the rim of a glass to cut out your treats.

6) Pop your shapes onto the baking tray, and bake for 20-25 minutes or until crispy.

Frozen Pupsicles

If your pup needs to cool off, try our frozen pupsicle recipe for a refreshing summer treat. This simple recipe provides a stimulating snack that will occupy your hot dog, and can be stored in the freezer all summer long. These also make use of our Salmon Traybake meal to give your pup all the tasty nutrients they need, as well as being grain and gluten free!

Ingredients

1 Tilly & Ted Salmon Traybake Tray

1 chopped and boiled apple

2 tbsp of water

Stick shaped treats (optional)

Instructions

1) Pop the apple, Salmon Traybake, and water into a food processer and blend until smooth. Add more water if the mixture seems too thick, or if you want a larger water ratio in your treats.

2) Pour the mixture into ice lolly moulds, or large ice cube trays. Insert stick shaped treats into the treats as handles, otherwise you can use real sticks or just leave the treats as they are.

3) Put in the freezer for around 4 hours, or until fully frozen.

Lamb Treatballs

We know some pups can have a rather distinguished palate, so we've got a recipe for dogs who want something slightly different for their tasty treats. Our Lamb Kebab meal provides some zing to these meaty snacks to really get those tails wagging. These treats are best enjoyed warm, so we recommend serving straight after cooling, or they can be popped in the microwave for 15 seconds before your pup enjoys.

Ingredients

1 Tilly & Ted Lamb Kebab Tetra

1 egg

1 tsp of dried rosemary

1 tsp of dried parsley

2 tbsp of ground flaxseed

45g of oats

Flour (optional)

Instructions

1) Set your oven to 180C fan, and line a baking sheet with baking paper.

2) Mix the Lamb Kebab, eggs, herbs, and flaxseed together in a bowl. Add the oats and combine. The mixture will need to hold a shape, so add a little flour to thicken if needed.

3) Roll into meatball shapes, and place onto the lined baking sheet.

4) Bake for 20 minutes or until browned.
