The top performing pets belonging to 2024 Grammy Nominees
We're all SO excited about the 2024 Grammy nominations, but we really want to know whose pets steal the show. Check out our list of our top Grammy nominees, and their performing cats and dogs.
As the 2024 Grammy nominations have been released, we're all buzzing to find out who's going to take home awards at the 67th ceremony next year. With all the biggest songs and artists of the summer being in the the running, we can guarantee this will be one fantastic show. But what we're even more interested in is the paws behind the performers...who are the paw-fect pets shaking their tails behind the scenes? Check out our list below to see some of our top nominees with their best furry friends, and which Tilly & Ted meal we think they'd vibe with.
1. RAYE
RAYE has rocketed to success recently, and has been releasing incredible music as early as 2014. After releasing her album 'My 21st Century Blues' in 2023, her single 'Escapism' found viral success online, and her music has been in everyone's headphones all year long. She even opened for Taylor Swift at her Eras Tour in London, as well as headlining her first festival at Radio One's Big Weekend earlier this year. Following this, she has been nominated for Best New Artist at the 67th Grammy Awards, as well as Songwriter of the Year, Non-classical. When she's not on stage, RAYE has an adorable fluffy dog named Yoshi, who she shared to her fans via Twitter. We hope to see more of Yoshi's antics across social media, and what he gets up to when RAYE is slaying the pop scene. Our Lamb Kebab meal seems like an obvious choice here, as it combines a classic taste with a flavourful twist, providing plenty of hearty protein along the way.
2. Sabrina Carpenter
Sabrina Carpenter blew everyone away this year with summer smash, 'Espresso'. Her album 'Short n' Sweet' features banger after banger, that everyone has been singing along to nonstop. She's nominated for a host of awards, such as Album of the Year and Record of the Year for the aforementioned work, as well as Best New Artist, Song of the Year for hit 'Please, Please, Please', and multiple other nominations. Her biggest paw-some buddy is Maltese-mix, Goodwin. After receiving him for her 13th birthday, Sabrina and Goodwin have been best friends ever since, and the family has only grown with the addition her puppy Louie, and cats, Bennie and Bjorn. We think their stylish and fun vibe matches our Turkey Loaf perfectly, as it is crafted to please even the most discerning canine palates, and keep hair shiny and soft.
3. Charli XCX
Charli XCX has been a British pop icon since 2010, with collaborative hits such as 'I Love It' in 2012, and 'Fancy' in 2014. Since the release of her album 'Brat' in 2024, Charli XCX has been at the forefront of pop music and is only gaining more success with every release. To top off her Brat summer, she's been nominated for multiple awards, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance. To give her a helping paw with the musical process, Charli has two four-legged friends to count on. Pups Asher and Nico were fostered in 2020, before being adopted permanently into the XCX family. Their names combined make 'Ashnikko', the incredibly popular blue-haired rapper and singer. We reckon these cheeky chaps would love our Duck Terrine meal, to help the creative juices flow with its delicious and unique flavours.
4. Kendrick Lamar
Kendrick Lamar is one the most influential rappers of his generation, and has been a giant of the game since 2011. He's been consistently releasing new music and collaborating with other artists ever since, becoming a household name and a respected figure of the community. His single 'Not Like Us' exploded with popularity due to the lyrical content referring to problematic behaviour of fellow rapper, Drake. This song has been nominated for Record of the Year, and Kendrick also has nominations across multiple categories. He is a huge dog lover, and has a his very own waggy pal at home to relax with after a long a day. Huey Hefner the American Bully was adopted in 2016, and seems to bring a sweet energy with him wherever he goes. We think Kendrick and Huey would have the best time with our classic Chicken Dinner, as it has a hearty and yummy flavour profile whilst being packed with superfoods.
5. Taylor Swift
Unsurprisingly, the 67th Grammy nominations were swept with one of the most popular artists of current times, Taylor Swift. Her sold-out Eras tour has created a universe of its own amongst fans, and latest album 'The Tortured Poets Department' captured hearts and excitement all over the world. She's nominated for many awards, such as Record of the Year for collaborative song 'Fortnight', and Album of the Year for her aforementioned work. Every superstar needs their purr-fect pets to come home to, and Taylor Swift hasn't been shy about declaring her endless love for cats, Benjamin Button, Meredith Grey, and Olivia Benson. For this happy family, our Tuna with Salmon Mousse is the ultimate whisker-licking delight, and we think each and every one of Taylor's kitties would adore this oceanic treat.
