2024 Paris Olympians and their top dogs
The 2024 Paris Olympics' Top Dogs
(and their sporting humans)
The 2024 Paris Olympics have certainly gripped the world with their daring sporting feats, stunning visuals, and fantastic Olympians. But what about the dogs behind the athletes? Nothing helps a sportsperson relax more than coming home to a furry friend at the end of a long day, and some of the most famous Olympians have the cutest pups around. Check out our list below to see our favourite Olympians with their best waggy pals, and which Tilly & Ted meal we think they'd vibe with.
1. Simone Biles, Lilo, and Rambo
Simone Biles has secured her place as the most decorated Gymnast in history, winning gold and silver medals for Team USA in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Every incredibly talented athlete of course needs puppy love and support behind the scenes, and Simone is lucky enough to have French Bulldogs, Lilo and Rambo, to bark her on. These adorable pups even have their own Instagram, and were lucky enough to take their own doggy vacation whilst Simone was making history in Paris. What lucky pooches! We think their refined and stylish vibe matches our Turkey Loaf perfectly, as it is crafted to please even the most discerning canine palates, and keep hair shiny and soft.
2. Ryan Crouser and Koda
Ryan Crouser is crushing the game for Team USA as a Shot-Put, Discuss, and Track and Field athlete. Winning gold in the Shot-Put in the Paris Olympics 2024, Ryan is showing off his incredible athletic skills and intense training by also holding the world Shot-Put record. Ryan is accompanied by beautiful Labrador pup, Koda, who provides the waggiest companionship around, from warming up, to cooling off after a hard-working day. We're sure Koda would be a fierce competitor in tennis ball throwing for the Puppy Olympics with a trainer like Ryan! We reckon these two cheeky chaps would love our Chicken Dinner meal, promising strong protein with refined notes of delicious vegetables.
3. Katarina Johnson-Thompson, Bronx, and Chorizo
Katrina Johnson-Thompson is a fierce Olympic competitor for Team GB, as a Heptathlon and Pentathlon athlete. This two-time world champion is sure to be a top contender in the 2024 Paris Olympics. After a long day of running, jumping, and competing, Katrina gets to come home to adorable Dachshunds Bronx and Chorizo, who are sure to sooth any sore muscles with their waggy friendship. They love nothing more than long walks together, and with an owner like Katrina, Bronx and Chorizo must have the fastest Dachshund legs in the business. We think Katrina and her dogs would have the best time with our superfood packed Chicken Paella, as it has a fun and unique flavour profile, whilst fuelling the most sporty of pups.
4. Carl Hester, Mr Chip, Noel, Lulu, Pru, Gus, and more!
Carl Hester is an impressive and renowned Equestrian, competing with Team GB in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Carl secured bronze in Dressage, making a proud run for this British athlete. When he's not training hard, Carl has far too many dogs to name, with at least 10 at home with him and his family. Some of his pups include Boxers, Pru and Gus, Dachshunds, Noel and Mr Chip, and adorable one-eyed terrier, Lulu. To suit all these different pooches, we can only recommend our Lamb Kebab meal, to provide plenty of hearty protein and a classic and palatable taste.
5. Elliot Giles and Milo
Elliot Giles is a superb Middle-Distance runner and athlete, competing in 2024's Paris Olympics. This dedicated Olympian is competing in the 800m, and has spent years refining their sport and training rigorously. Luckily, Elliot has a four-legged friend that suits their energy and personality perfectly, in French Bulldog, Milo. They love nothing more than cuddling up on the sofa together, and chasing each other round fields. What a dynamic duo! Their heartfelt and dedicated vibes match paw-fectly with our Fisherman's Pie, and we think Milo would adore this oceanic delight.
