Our top 2024 Emmy Winners and their performing pets
The 2024 Emmys entertained us all, but we really want to know whose pets steal the show. Check out our list of our top Emmys winners, and their performing cats and dogs.
The 2024 Emmy Awards featured an amazing array of creatives, all of whom were incredibly deserving of recognition for their talent. But what about the pets behind the performers? Nothing helps an artist relax more than coming home to a furry friend at the end of a long day, and some of the most famous creatives have the cutest cats and dogs around. Check out our list below to see our favourite winners with their best floofy pals, and which Tilly & Ted meal we think they'd vibe with.
1. Ebon Moss-Bachrach
Ebon Moss-Bachrach has solidified himself as a phenomenal actor over the years, and has stormed our screens again in recent years as Richie in 'The Bear'. His talent in this role was enough to win Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series, and we can't wait to see more of his funny bones and dramatic flair in the upcoming 'Fantastic Four' movie, as The Thing. Ebon also has a crafty kittycat keeping him company behind the scenes, as nothing helps you chill out more than purrs and cuddles. This pussycat is called Sonny, and seems to be a firm member of the fluffy family. We think their sleek and light-hearted vibe matches our Chicken Casserole meal perfectly, as it is crafted with a classic yet yummy taste in mind.
2. Billy Crudup
Billy Crudup is an American actor who is best known for tackling dramatic roles and starring in powerful stories. His role in 'The Morning Show' really captured audiences, so it was no surprise when he won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series for his performance. Even the most dedicated of actors need to unwind with their best friends, and Billy is dog dad to dog Izzy. Izzy was rescued by Billy's wife, Naomi Watts, in 2020, and the adorable pooch has been loved by both ever since. We reckon this waggy trio would love our Roast Dinner meal, as it's full of all the nutrients you could need without skimping on deliciousness.
3. Hiroyuki Sanada
Smash hit TV series 'Shogun' exploded onto our screens this year, and captivated audiences across the world. The show also shone the spotlight on actor Hiroyuki Sanada, who had many previous screen credits in Japan as well as performing with the RSC for 'King Lear'. He became the first Japanese actor in history to win an Emmy, taking home the award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series. He has also been shown to be a pet-lover, through old pictures of him cosying up with his own cat and dog. We hope to see more of this fantastic artist and his furry friends in the future, with season 2 of the iconic series (hopefully) right around the corner. We think Hiroyuki and his pets would have the best time with our yummy and classy Traybake with Salmon, as it has a unique flavour profile whilst being packed with superfoods.
4. Alex Edelman
This grounded yet hilarious comedian had everyone laughing this year, with his comedy special 'Just For Us'. Alex Edelman is no stranger to writing, having written and performed many stand-up shows throughout the years. He took home the 2024 Emmy for Outstanding Writer for a Variety Special, with his aforementioned recent show. As well as tickling funny bones, he is also great with furry friends, and has a waggy pup of his very own. An adorable Shiba Inu puppy-dog is part of his family home, and we're sure that those fluffy paws could help any creative through the tough writing process. Our Chicken Dinner with Country Vegetables meal seems like an obvious choice here, as it combines a classic taste with a flavourful twist, providing plenty of hearty protein along the way.
5. Jodie Foster
As one of the most iconic actors of all time, it's certainly no surprise that Jodie Foster would be once again recognised for her immeasurable talent. The American actor recently blew us out of the water with her role in 'True Detective: Night Country', continuing her streak of memorable performances. The Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie was presented to Jodie this year, for her role in the series. Jodie is also accompanied by waggy bestie, Ziggy, whose floof is almost as big as their spirit. This beautiful and bouncy pup is often seen by Jodie's side, and we imagine the puppy cuddles couldn't be better. For this paw-fect pup, our Salmon Traybake is the ultimate tail-wagging delight, and we think Ziggy would adore this oceanic treat.
